From 2023, UCOL Te Pūkenga and the programme you have enrolled in will become part of Te Pūkenga. So, if you join UCOL Te Pūkenga in 2023, you will be awarded Te Pūkenga certification. And, if you are a current learner graduating in 2023, you will be awarded a co-branded certificate.

This programme consists of 70 credits. The courses include;

Health & Safety (including physical and mental well-being)
People Skills (leading and monitoring team members, monitoring skill development)
Self-Management
Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
Ethical Practice
Social, economic, and environmental sustainability of the building and construction industry

Graduates of the New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trade Supervisor Level 5 will have the skills to work in a range of supervisory roles in residential and commercial construction sites, including:

Operations Supervisor/Team Leader
Construction Supervisor/Team Leader
Operations Supervisor/Team Leader
Manufacturing Team Leader
Manufacturing Supervisor

Assistant Project Manager
With further training and/or work experience, you may be able to move into management roles as well.
